Just arrived home from the National Fire Academy. I attended the FESHE bi-annual FESHE meetings. Have no idea what FESHE is all about? I think there are many in that boat. FESHE is Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education. The group works to define the model curriculum for associates, bachelors, and masters degrees in fire, fire prevention, EMS, and other venues. I would like to hear what you know about FESHE and how you think the role of FESHE is progressing the fire service.
It seems there are so many things happening to progress the fire service, yet so many know nothing about these efforts. Why is this the case?! Let's hear from you on your thoughts.

ReplyDeleteJust found the FSHE website: http://www.usfa.dhs.gov/nfa/higher_ed/index.shtm.
It was tough to find -- maybe part of why they're not getting more recognition.
